Raise Money For Your Organization or Team

I do fundraising for different organizations. Some examples are Lacrosse, Mission Trips, Breast Caner, etc. I give 40% of the total service of each client that mentions the fundraiser back to the organization. Here is an example of the letter I will send out to your organization:

Hi Everyone, My name is Michelle Burell. I am a local hairdresser in the Townelake area. I am offering a fundraiser to organizations to help them with raising money for their organization.

I have the privilege to offer what most hairdressers cannot. I choose to help the community by offering fundraisers and other items as well. Here’s how the Fundraiser works:

• First we will pick a time period that you want to use for your team. Example September 1 – September 30 or we can 2 weeks or 3 weeks at a time – you pick – I would think that since most kids got haircuts in July before school – Sept or mid Sept would be good or even later.
• Next I would send you a letter that you can send to your parents stating, “Our team is doing a Fundraiser to help with end of season party” or whatever your need is. I will explain very clearly that services must be with Michelle only and they have to come during the given period to receive. Families are not obligate to anything. If they like their service and want to continue to see me as their hairdresser then so be it. I am not here to take away from their original hairdresser – just to help out the team.
• Then, once they have made an appointment, been seen by me, and the time frame period is over I will then send a statement to you letting you know what teams came in, who from those teams came in, what services they received, the total for their service and the 40% of that service. I will then write a check to you or to whomever you would like for me to write the check to.

The organization makes 40% of the total service each person receives.
